Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas ChildWhat is it?

Operation Christmas Child is a program created by Samaritan’s Purse which collects gift-filled shoe boxes and distributes them to children in desperate situations around the world. In addition to the gifts, the Samaritan’s Purse team also brings the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole village.

What can I do?

You can join us in making an impact all around the world by filling a shoebox for either a boy or a girl. Fill as many shoeboxes as you want, and bring them to our special OCC service.

Where do I bring my shoebox?

We are going to have a special service at 10 AM on Sunday, November 15, 2009, when we will present our shoebox gifts and have a prayer of dedication.  Come and join us that day to celebrate together. Please mark it on your calendar and don’t forget to bring your shoebox with you! They will be shipped out the next day!

How can I invite my friends to do this?

We would love to share the blessing of this event with our community! If you would like to invite your friends to take part, invite them to join us for the Operation Christmas Child service on November 15.  The service will be geared to all ages and will feature great music and a short message.
