Start the new year off right as student pastor George Ortiz shares a special message from the book of Mark. Sorry for the audio, but I did clean it up as best that I could 🙂 It gets a little bit better about 25 seconds in.

I was first disturbed that the pastor couldn’t say the city’s name right – It’s Capernaum, not Capernium. But I’m happy with the message -study Jesus’ life and learn of happiness. Very good points mentioned – prayer, compassion and obedience.
Wow, sorry I didn’t see this before as this comment is two years old now! Anyway, I just wanted to say that I’m glad you liked the message. The correct way to pronounce Capernaum is indeed Ca-per-nee-um, but I know it’s weird from the spelling. Those are some of the little nuances that I had to study in Bible school and used to hate getting corrected on it all the time 😉 Anyway, here is the Wikipedia page for further reference on the phonetics… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capernaum. Again, really glad that someone is listening!
