Matt Jones – Lead Pastor
Matt and his wife Becky have been at Lakeside practically since the beginning when Matt helped his father Derek to plant the church. Matt served as Executive and Worship Pastor from 2003 to 2010 and became the lead pastor in late 2010. Matt has a Diploma in Biblical and Theological Studies and is currently completing his Master of Divinity degree through the distance education program of Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary.
George Ortiz – Student Pastor
George and Becky Jo have been serving with Lakeside for many years now and have modeled a method of one-on-one discipleship that has impacted beyond their sphere of influence in the student group. George is also part of the regular teaching team at Lakeside.
Roger Beal – Shepherd Leader
Having attended another great church here in the valley for a number of years, Roger and his wife Sonje decided to make Lakeside their church home a number of years ago when his heart became broken for his own community in Syracuse. Roger’s passion for evangelism finds him often leading or being involved in community outreach programs at Lakeside, and he also teaches occasionally on Sundays.
