The Connection
The Connection is a 4 week event, with 4 one-hour sessions. We do it on Thursday evenings and childcare is provided.
If you are looking to plug in to Lakeside, then this is for you! During the 4 weeks, you not only find out more about Lakeside, but more importantly, we find out more about you! We give you tools to assess your strengths and abilities and also what you’re passionate about. The teaching sessions cover the following topics…
- A brief history of Lakeside Church
- Vision, Values, Beliefs and Structure
- Church life
- Personal growth
- Serving
The sessions are led by one of our shepherd leaders and are supplemented by video teaching from Pastor Derek. There is a limited amount of homework each week to be done. If you don’t have access to childcare, please contact us and arrangements may be able to be made.
